How do these changes effect the game’s networking, especially for large player servers (100+ Players)? Would there be any noticable networking decline or would the differences be negligable? My game Empire Clash uses 100 player servers and fairly large maps, so we always have to be careful balancing

What’s the prospect for streaming support for long range FPS games? Prior posts have said that they’re a bad fit for streaming, and I’m not familiar with the nitty gritty technical details - but is this something we could look forward to?

SpeedyHotdog4: Yes this is an opt-in feature, it will not be enabled automatically. This will not be a required feature now or in the future. We encourage you to use predictive streaming to improve streaming performance but understand if it isn’t right for your game. Can Roblox executives also recog

Using R6 primarily severely limits a players avatar ingame especially today with Ugc avatar bundles and animation packs. Theres no practical reasons for devs to be doing R6 only avatars in their games besides giving themselves a sense of nostalgia.

Oh no I’m disappointed, I’m making a game with a hugemap which doesn’t support “death” and “respawn” but I wished there was a way to “anticipate” streaming to a specific place when I want to teleport.

What I would love to see, is conditional streaming. Create an Instance which allows you to define a 3D region, and with an enum or a method, which upon setting/calling, streams-in or out the region forcefully. You can implement a fallback system of some sorts for devices that cannot handle the rapid

You can handle this manually today with Player.RequestStreamAroundAsync or Player.AddReplicationFocus . Is there a reason those won’t work for your situation?
