this is huge for solo devs, biggest ask would be letting quality mode generate a normal map too, color roughness and metal is great but normal is what really sells depth on wood and stone would also love picking the resolution, i know the engine scales textures down on weaker devices but a 4k set on

I can understand that line of thinking, but this mentality of putting people down for using AI or this vehement opposition to it as if it’s completely incapable of anything good is really getting ridiculous.

as a solo dev myself too, i recommend that you don’t use ai models at all, learning how to make models in blender is much more fun & you have way more control on how the outcome would look like, as for textures there are many free textures online which you can use

Whats fun for you is not fun for everyone. I tried to learn Blender modelling and it was not fun, more tedious than anything. AI gives you just as much creative control if you are specific about what you want and prompt it correctly, its not a replacement for actual thought and creativity.

Is this with an asset from the Toolbox? There are permissions per asset, and some don’t allow to make such operations as rexturing.
