UGC catalog is finally getting its parasites removed

If I upload a test item on my main account, then I upload it to a group would it be deleted? Or what if the thumbnails lighting was bad so I have to reupload?

Really glad to see this. The amount of identical meshes and textures on the marketplace has been a problem for a long time.

Will this be applied for roblox’s own ip too or is it just for content made by other users? I was wondering because i have a feeling that the biggest offenders are people copying roblox ip like dominuses, valkyries, domino crowns & others.

I’ve been struggling with attempting to remove either AI-generated copies or direct copies of my Community’s UGC. I’m pretty glad that there’s some more light getting shined upon this problem. While this may seem like an objectively good update, support needs to make a category for these types of deletions & duplicate item flags. Your AI has been falsely flagging UGC creations in the same group as the creator, even when you claim that your system is meant to prevent these cases. Origi

If i have 2 items with very similar textures and identical geometry, will this affect me? what if i made an item similar to someone but its a different item and they’re not looking close to any roblox-made item? what if i ask one of my friends to upload an item with a mesh i created because im not h
